Android G1 gets its game on with AndroidBoy
Last week the Androidboy GameBoy emulator package was released into the Android Market for download to T-Mobile G1. The Androidboy emulator is a fork of the JavaGB open source mobile GameBoy emulation project. There are versions that will run on Java based phones using MIDP and one that you can run on your PC, though I’m not sure why you would want to.
Androidboy should run on basically any Android phone that is released after the G1 as well. The team made sure to provide control options for phones with full keyboards or just number pads. Here are the options for the key bindings on various phones:

There are a number of GameBoy ROMs, or game packages, that you can download legally on PDRoms. You can also find bootleg copies of old favorites that you used to play on the GameBoy or GameBoy color floating about online.
